Ohio River - Madison - 1/23/09

Myself, Roy and Andy went down to the Ohio River near Madison to do some catfishing. Bait was kinda tough as the usual hole was ICED OVER!!! Ugh....but we ended up getting enough for the day and got some nice cutter shad. Fished deep holes near current and ledges and we ended up with a few nice fish. The biggest fish were around 23lbs. All fish were caught on shad. Weather was nice too and the company was excellent.
Water Level: 421ft (Clifty Creek Gage)
Water Temp: 35-38 degrees
Bait: Cut shad and drum
Air Temp: 31 at start to 61 in the afternoon. Sunny
Here are some pics:

Nice fish Scott. I can tell this is old hat for you. Nice to see such beautiful fish and CPR! Great job.

Been typing up my own blog for a while here: http://anthraxinyoursoup.blogspot.com/

All creek and river Smallmouth Bass fishing.

You can fix your pics looking too large by going to 'edit' then changing the size to something like 400px by 300px. Keep the ratio similair to the original and the won't stretch out funny.

It will do size automatically if you upload from computer rather than photobucket.

Great job, keep it up
